Domestic Goddess

Can you believe that I have to pack up my studio and turn it into a guest room for xmas? With my little magic wand, I need to spirit away paints and brushes, frames and paper, half finished canvasses and god forbid- dust ! Pastel of course !!
But I cant do it. I think I've got a bit of a sulk up. It means while the Christmas festivities are on, there is no sneaking off to be by myself. Maybe, I can hide a sketch book somewhere, just in case I find something amusing and just need to get it on paper. So instead of creating, I will turn into a domestic goddess and attempt to handle all that the festive season throws at me. So please enjoy my latest painting which is a 17cm X 13cm acrylic titled just that- Domestic Goddess

I love your little domestic goddess! She's so beautiful! I'm packing up my studio for one night only. Make sure you hide your sketch book so you can catch Santa comin down the chimney!

Hi Wendi, Merry Christmas This one just makes me laugh. It reminds me of me, talking on the phone while I am ironing or hanging out the washing. I have had to pack up all my art stuff for a couple of weeks now. Finally got rid of the last guest yesterday, my mother in law. I will be moving all my stuff back and have just been inspired for my next picture. Oh and Santa gave me a new camera for Chrissy. I am feeling very spoilt.

Hi Wendi, I hope your Christmas went well. I would definately interested in a coffee. I am going away next Monday for five days to Venus Bay. See you after that. Kay

You have this spot on here, for a Domestic Goddess always looks her best no matter what activity she undertakes. Her ingenuity in setting about achieving this makes her a most remarkable person which separates her from the rest!
I absolutely loooove this Wendi!
The whimsy you infuse in your works definitely have an unmistakable style.
