I am a pastel artist who is dabbling in acrylics, drawing, and any artistic medium that lifts my soul.
She does look very warm and happy!I've never heard of a "sun reflector" though... do people really use something to reflect the sun at themselves? It's a good painting (I like her expression), and it's cool how it's a bit "naughty" but maybe making the sun look a bit more yellow could improve the "warm" feel of it.Oooh, random suggestion - I read your comment on my comment about how you want people to feel happy when they see your Yummy Mummy paintings - and I think the expressions and subject matter of the paintings are perfect for that... but it would be nice to see a few yummy mummies of different physical builds other than just skinny... curvy and chubby mums are gorgeous too! :)Anyway, just a thought... I'm looking forward to more of your work.
Lady C, thanx for the constructive crit. I've got so many ideas for yummy mummies, thats how they came about, observing people and imagining a sketch in my mind. And that is the key- I imagine MY yummy mummies as they come at the time, to me, they are confident, serene, at one with themselves and full of joy. And its more the emotion I want you to feel for each piece.
